# How to capture email addresses in your chatbot

You will see the Email Type [/article/1031-email-type] under the Questions
section. Use this in the chatbot to capture the email address of your website
visitor.









The Email type will check and validate the reply. If the reply was an invalid
email address, the chatbot will repeat the question again.
